Lara Landers

Lara Landers BSc (Hons) MCSP, is a chartered physiotherapist and is registered with the Health and care Professionals Council (HCPC). Lara is a member of the association of chartered Paediatric Physiotherapists (APCP) and the association of chartered physiotherapists for people with Learning disabilities. (ACPPLD)

Following Graduation from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh in 2004, Lara worked in Adult and Children’s rehabilitation within NHS services in Scotland until 2009. Gaining specialist skills in stroke rehabilitation, falls prevention, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and paediatrics.

Lara has worked across Essex NHS community services as a highly specialist Paediatric physiotherapist since 2009, developing highly specialised neuro-orthopaedic and neurodevelopmental physiotherapy skills, to support both children and their families with their developmental journey.

Lara continues to work part time in NHS Specialist Health Community services for adults with learning disabilities. Supporting clients, who require reasonable adjustments, to access physiotherapy intervention as adults due to their childhood conditions.

With 20 years experience as a qualified physiotherapist Lara is passionate about supporting individuals to gain the skills and function they require to reach their goals.
